Taliban murders aid workers - 9/1/2010
The bodies of three Christian aid workers have been found in Pakistan. Authorities recovered the bodies of the three workers on Wednesday, not long after threats had been issued against workers trying to provide aid. The trio had been kidnapped and killed by members of the Pakistani Taliban in the flood-ravaged country. Other relief workers have been threatened. Christian Convert in Bangladesh Falsely Accused of Theft by Muslims - 9/1/2010
Muslims said to use mistaken identity to stop activities of Christian. A Christian convert from Islam was falsely arrested for cattle theft last weekend in a bid by influential Muslims to stop his Christian activities. Christian villagers told Compass that Hossen was the victim of "dirty tricks" by influential Muslims. Muslims have been harassing him since his conversion. Federal Court Halts Obama Administration’s Embryonic Stem Cell Policy - 8/30/2010

As a result the Christians living in the village were assaulted over two consecutive days. Eleven Copts were hospitalized and many Coptic youths were arrested. Developers of Ground Zero Mosque Only Own Half the Property - 8/16/2010
New Yorkers want to know why they weren't told the truth about the Ground Zero mosque. Representative Peter King says the developers seem to be "operating under false pretenses." It turns out half the land is owned by Con Ed, an electric utility. Any sale proposal would have to go before the Public Service Commission. So far, the project has raised $200 in donations. Scientists Link Faith and Liver Transplant Survival - 8/16/2010
Research in Italy shows 93.5 per cent of religious worshippers were still alive four years after their operation, while only 79.5 per cent of their non-religious counterparts survived. The statistics suggest the mortality rate for a patient who does not believe in God is three times higher than for those who do. That's 20.5 per cent compared to 6.6 per cent. Barna Studies Report on Changing Faith in America - 8/16/2010
One out of eight adults is an ex-Christian. The Barna Group defines this as someone who was Protestant or Catholic in childhood, but is now atheist, agnostic or something else. Shopping Mall's Religious Speech Restrictions Overturned - 8/14/2010
The case arose after a youth pastor was arrested for striking up casual conversations with shoppers about their faith. It happened in Roseville, California. A judge has just determined that Galleria Malls' rules against Christian speech are unconstitutional. His intended victim, Nayara Goncalves, was spiritually minded. She shared her faith at gunpoint. No one was hurt. Police are still looking for the man, believed to be around 40 years-old. A pastor told me one of his teenagers stopped a car and asked, "Can we pray for you?" The guys who were inside said, "No, I don't think you can pray for our business." Graduate Student Told to Give Up Her Christian Beliefs or Be Expelled - 7/23/2010

A group of American missionaries was among those in the twin terror attacks in Kampala, Uganda during the World Cup final. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals says Lynn Swanson and Jackie Bomchill were wrong in stopping distribution of Christian material by students. Swanson and Bomchill are principals in Plano, Texas.
