This is a testimony to how social media has and is uniting the praying church all over the World. The wisdom of the Lord concerning this goes truly beyond anything we can ask or think. I want to break it down for you so you can join me in praising God in this. My 2 ½ year old granddaughter Sophia has been in the hospital for over 125 days and as I write this she has been in intensive care for over 2 weeks.She has been the been one of the beneficiaries of this grace.I too join Tim in giving God glory for how the Lord has knit the praying church together since Facebook and Twitter came out.

There is a place in prayer where you no longer have much to say. It’s a place where what you have been praying for has not materialized. Day after day you have cried out to the Lord for deliverance from the problem but it hasn’t come. At first you were desperate. You searched high and low to see what might be the obstacle or the hindrance blocking the answer. Only to realize that there are hundreds of things in our life that if it wasn’t for the power of the blood of Jesus would disqualify us from ever getting relief.

When you open your heart to the needy God opens the heavens to you.

One of the most stinging accusations leveled at the Church today is that she has abandoned the poor and needy to the government. It stings because for the most part it is true. No matter what the Federal Government has done in the past or plans to do in the future, God has not suspended or revoked our obligation to care for the poor! Solomon warned,

Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself but shall not be heard (Proverbs 21:13)
