Perception: what a “word”! How can this “word” be worthy of writing about, you might ask? Well, I believe this “word” is the most powerful “word” in anyone’s life. I am asking you to stay with me for a few minutes, as we explore the depth of this “word”. Let’s first look at its meaning from the dictionary. Perception: observation and interpretation based chiefly on memory. Perception is the result of perceiving or seeing. It is how things look to us. Sometimes perception even brings with it a mental image.

As the year draws to a close, and Christians in America begin to nudge heaven for a word concerning their future, it’s important to note the persistent doom and gloom that exists. It seems that we are divided into two major camps, those expecting life in a tribulation-like setting (prophetic) and those who don’t care about anything (carnal Christians) except maybe the economy and how it affects how many dollars are in their pockets.
